Amherstburg River Lights Winter Festival

Visiting River Lights has become a tradition for many families … make it one of yours!
Visit a town immersed in the holiday spirit!
Every night, 100’s of customized LED light displays light up the town’s two main parks. King’s Navy Yard Park, along the Detroit River, features traditional displays that showcase the warm hearted feel of the season with carolers, angels, soldiers and more.
Toddy Jones Park features whimsical, playful displays for the kids and the kid at heart to enjoy.
Stop in at the Gingerbread Warming House in Toddy Jones Park Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights between 5:30-8:30pm to warm up, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, take a look at the annual Gingerbread House contest submissions, take part in the free children’s crafts and story time.

Continuing the tradition, we will ‘Light up the Town’ with our Downtown businesses illuminating their windows for the holiday season, welcoming you and encouraging you to stop by and shop local.
