MARCH 1, 2022 NOTE:
As full capacity of our performing spaces returns thanks to the Ontario government’s lifting of restrictions beginning this month, we look forward to seeing many more of you returning to our theatres.⠀

Throughout the March performances of Cyrano de Bergerac – despite the easing of government requirements – The Shaw will continue to require proof of vaccination from all our audiences through March 31.⠀
⠀
In addition, as our performers must work unmasked, we will continue to leave the front row of our theatres off sale for now to allow a little extra distance between unmasked performers and our patrons. Full masking of all audiences continues to be required by the Ontario government.⠀

We are doing all this out of an abundance of caution and to ease everyone – artists and patrons alike – back to a more relaxed, less restrictive state.⠀

We know this adds a small extra burden to our early season patrons to continue to present their proof of vaccination, but we hope everyone understands that it is a temporary measure for a short period of time. We simply want to ensure the safest possible environment for all.⠀

100% of our staff are mandated by our health and safety policies to be fully vaccinated and to have had their boosters to work here.⠀

We say it again: we look forward to welcoming you back. As Artistic Director Tim Carroll said at the launch of our 2022 Season, “But don’t plan only to come and see plays.” Again this year we will make magic happen on the Festival’s grounds with our Outdoors @ The Shaw concerts and theatrical encounters along with our usual exciting array of behind-the-scenes activities. We are going to do this all with you and our Company’s health and well-being top of mind. See you soon!⠀
