Jazz & Blues In the Village ~ Sarnia ~ 15th Anniversary
WELCOME to Jazz & Blues In the Village, a charity fundraiser for the Sarnia Organ Donor’s Awareness Group. Now in its 15th year, our festival promises something for everyone – great music, a wonderful atmosphere and plenty to eat and drink. Once again, we’ll be located in beautiful McGibbon Park in the heart of the city. With the park accommodating only 1500 people, we offer a truly unique, almost intimate, festival experience. Under the heated tent you can enjoy the bands ‘up close and personal’ or, if you prefer, sit further back and enjoy the music under the sun and stars. Sit at a table, open a lawn chair or just stand and mingle with friends. There’s plenty of room for everyone with great viewing from every angle. And don’t forget to bring warm clothing as evenings in September can be cool.
Full lineup to be announced soon.
Friday Night Blues – September 14
Spencer Mackenzie – returning favourite and Maple Blues Award winning best new artist
Saturday Afternoon Jazz – September 15
The Bettys – back by popular demand with their vintage harmony and sass
Saturday Night Blues – September 15
The Official Blues Brother Revue – a show to remember, and a night of laughter, dancing and foot-stompin’ fun
Don’t miss out! September 14 & 15, 2018.
All proceeds from this event stay in the Sarnia/Lambton area and are used to assist transplant patients and their families and to assist in research and education on organ donation and transplantation.
